Weighted sled training helps build explosive leg drive, knee lift and stride frequency out of the blocks. The variable weight options of the SKLZ Speed Sac safely strengthens the lower body-muscle groups by providing options for increased resistance training similar to metal sleds. By removing the weight bags, athletes can use the handles on the bags to execute lunge walk for additional hamstring and quadricep strengthening.
