With eye catching aesthetics and ground breaking technologies the new VR_S range takes innovation to new levels that conform to R&A and USGA rules. The new Nike VR_S Covert Tour Fairway is the first high speed cavity backed fairway designed to maximise stability of the club head through impact. As a result of this technology you get more energy transferred to the ball at impact which in turn creates more distance and control. Like the driver the fairway's cavity is not able to be seen at address as it it covered by the crown which gives it a pleasing look at address, hence the name Covert. The NexCor face technology used in the Vr_S Covert Range is designed to create faster ball speeds off a greater area of the face, generating greater distances. This is achieved by using variable face thickness which creates superior ball speed across a wider area of the club face. Packed with technology the Covert fairway uses Nike Golf's new FlexLoft Adjustibility System (tour models only) which allows the club to adjust its loft independently of face angle with a simple pull, push and turn system on the shaft.
