The all New VR_S Covert Irons for 2013 are Nike's direct replacement for the original VR_S and VR_S Forged irons. Like last years model the VR_S Covert is a cast club which is aimed at the double digit handicap golfer, however, unlike previous models in the range the new Covert iron is not as bulky to look at and has a thinner topline which will apeal to single digit golfer aswell. This is achieved by the development of Nike's all new Covert technology which increases distance and playability without the bulky chasis of last years model. The MOI of this iron is increased on that of the VR_S and VR_S Forged by moving more weight away to the perimeter of the clubhead just like in the Covert Drivers and Woods. Carrying on from last year these irons incorporate NexCor Face technology which is even thinner than before, resulting in even more flexibilty in the face at impact creating even more distance even on mis-hits...
